Is there a teacher in the Uintah School District that has positively impacted your life or the life of a student you know? The Uintah Schools Foundation is requesting nominations of outstanding teachers who have given extraordinary service to local students. The Foundation has been recognizing local teachers since 1997. Two teachers will be recognized at the State of the District event and will receive a cash award from the Foundation. Parents, family members, current students, and former students are all encouraged to nominate a teacher who they think is deserving of the award. Nominations are open until February 9th. Nominations can be submitted by scanning the QR code on the Uintah Schools Foundation Facebook page and can also be filled out through www.uintahschoolsfoundation.org.
