Uintah School District has announced the District’s 2022 – 2023 Teacher and Classified Employee of the Year. The District’s Teacher of the Year is Uintah High School’s Kami Elison. The District’s Classified Employee of the Year is Uintah Transportation Department mechanic Erik Middleton. “Kami and Erik personify our district’s mission and vision,” shares Superintendent Rick Woodford. “They are exemplars of the many outstanding employees across our district who are committed to inspiring our students to reach their full individual potential.” Elison has worked in the district for 6 years. She teaches business classes at the high school, where she also serves as the Career and Technical Education Department Head. Middleton has worked for the Uintah School District for 12 years. In his primary role he repairs and maintains a fleet of 120 district vehicles, known as the “white fleet” and also helps maintain the district’s 60 school buses. Congratulations to Uintah School District Teacher of the Year Kami Elison and Classified Employee of the Year Erik Middleton.
