A special project is happening throughout the Uintah School District aimed at honoring an upcoming holiday. The School Foods Department will be setting up a “Veterans Wall” in each school in the month of November. “These will be a bulletin board or similar display with pictures of veterans as the focal point,” shares the announcement. “Beginning next week, individuals can send photos of veterans they know to school with their student. Students should give the photos to the Foods staff at their school. If you would like the picture back, please send a note with your student’s name, grade, and homeroom teacher so the photo can be returned.” Veterans Day is a federal holiday and will be observed on Monday, November 11th.
