Uintah School District has announced the interim administrators for Vernal Middle School as part of an administrative shuffle. “After considerable thought and deliberation, Uintah School District is appointing Vernal Middle School Vice Principal Aaron Olsen to serve as the school’s interim principal,” shares the announcement. “VMS instructional coach Emily Arnold is being appointed to serve as the school’s assistant principal. Olsen has done an excellent job as VMS vice principal, serving with Dr. Mistalyn Leis, who is leaving her role as VMS principal on Feb. 22 to become the interim director of human resources for Uintah School District…Olsen and Arnold will serve in their new interim roles through the end of the school year, when the district will open the principal position at VMS for hire.”The shuffle is in response to HR director Rick Johnson moving on to a job opportunity outside the school district.
