The schedule in Uintah School District continues to be a hot topic and the Uintah School Board is actively gathering information and exploring options. On January 13th, the District released the results of multiple surveys that were distributed as well as attendance and performance data. The results are all available on the home page of uintah.net. The Friday schedule changed in 2020 in response to the COVID pandemic. District wide absences on Fridays increased after the change and have remained above pre-COVID levels. The Board will be discussing the schedule during their January 30th work session. The work session will be an open meeting but the board does not plan to take public comment that night. Public comment will be allowed during the board’s regularly scheduled business meeting on February 8th and it is expected that the board will make a decision on the schedule during that meeting.
