The Uintah School District Board of Education is meeting tonight, July 14th, for the Approval of the School Restart Plan. The plan, developed by a COVID-19 Task Force made up of staff and community members, was presented to the public during a board meeting last Wednesday. The board voted to table the plan to allow more time for the public to offer feedback. Tonight’s meeting is the Board’s next opportunity to approve the plan. The school districts in Utah are required to develop comprehensive reopening plans that must be approved by the local school board in a public meeting and all plans must be made available to the public by August 1st. Tonight’s meeting starts at 6pm and is taking place in the Vernal Middle School auditorium. The meeting will also be livestreamed on the ‘USD LiveStream’ YouTube channel.
