Uintah School District has a new Business Administrator. D. Troy Timothy is a Uintah High graduate who has worked the past 25 years in finance for major companies around the country. “I’ve generally worked for publicly traded companies, Fortune 500 type companies that are listed on the stock exchange. We follow a lot of regulatory compliance rules,” said Timothy. “I look forward to applying my extensive experience to the accounting standards and regulations associated with public education. To be honest, there aren’t many jobs in Vernal where I can really use my educational and professional background like this, so I’m excited for this opportunity.” Uintah School Board President Dave Chivers believes Timothy will be a great addition to the District’s leadership team. “I’m confident,” says Chivers, “he’ll play a key role in our ongoing efforts to keep Uintah on the rise.” D. Troy Timothy’s first day on the job will be January 6th.
