From hosting a polar plunge to the fun of country swing night, Uintah Special Service District 1 is keeping the community busy with activities to suit a variety of interests. That said, they haven’t forgotten the role of the Uintah Community Center as a facility that promotes the physical health of the community as evidenced by their upcoming 10 week health challenge. There is an entry fee and prizes for certain categories like highest percentage of body fat lost and most lean muscle mass gained. The value is quickly returned as it includes a pre and post body scan as well as an optional review of the scans with a personal trainer and a support group to keep the motivation going strong.
