There is nothing like gathering with family or friends and heading to the pool. Have you ever stopped to consider all the things that it takes to make sure that the pool is safe? It takes a lot of behind the scenes work to keep everyone safe, the chemicals just right, training up-to-date, housekeeping on point, and the check list goes on and on and on. Wendy Harris, Uintah Recreation District Aquatics Manager, and her entire team of employees earned 2nd place in the 2021 Aquatics Safety Award from Utah Local Government Trust. Mike Stagg is a Loss Prevention Consultant with ULGT and explained that it is quite an achievement to place 2nd place in the entire state of Utah. Congratulations to Wendy and the team for keeping the pool safe and fun!
