Registration is opening for upcoming activities through the Uintah Recreation District. The Top Rope Certification Program is for anyone ages 15 and up. There are also Beginner and Intermediate Youth Climbing Classes for ages 5 to 10. Co-ed volleyball leagues start up in January as well as youth, teen, and adult co-ed indoor soccer. Itty Bitty Ball starts in January for kids 3 to 5 years old. Spring Dance registration will open on January 1st with classes starting in February. While those classes are for youth, there is an adult ballet class for those 16 and older that starts in January. Get registered for Uintah Recreation District offerings at uintahrecreation.org or by visiting the rec center. Finally, today is the deadline for the Uintah Special Service District 1 Art Contest. The theme is ‘Christmas Morning’ and there are six age divisions between age 5 and 16. Turn in your art on an 8×11 piece of paper at the rec center today.
