The Uintah High School wrestling programs are off to a great start this season. Last week, Uintah High Girls Wrestling beat 72 teams to win the 2024 Christmas Clash in Herriman. Leena Sharp won her classification. The Utes’ other podium finishers were Sadie Rhoades, Sydnie Dick, Kenna McCauley, and Issa Laamouri. Uintah High Boys Wrestling won the Warrior Classic in Grand Junction, breaking their own team-point record with 302 team points. Brody Rhoades, Michael Alexander, Rykan Hacking and Ethan Sharp each won their respective classifications. Michael Alexander was also named Outstanding Wrestler in the Light Heavyweight Division. Congratulations to both teams on the strong start to this season!
