Uintah High School will host a drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination event for TriCounty Health Department this Thursday, April 22nd, as well as next month on Thursday, May 13th. “This vaccination event will use the Pfizer vaccine, which can be administered to youth 16 and up,” shares Uintah School District. “The Pfizer vaccine is a two-dose vaccine. The first dose will be administered April 22nd. The second dose will be administered May 13th. Anyone who misses their second dose on May 13th will need to get the second dose from TriCounty Health or another Pfizer vaccine provider.” Youth under 18 will only be able to receive the vaccine during the events if they have a consent form signed by a parent or guardian. If the weather doesn’t cooperate on either day, the vaccination event will be held in the high school’s big gym. The opportunity for the first dose this Thursday will run from 2:45 to 4 p.m. This is a drive-thru vaccination event.
