The judges clearly loved Uintah Theatre’s ‘Something Rotten’ as the production received multiple nominations among the 2024 Utah High School Musical Theatre Awards Top 10 Finalists announced on Monday. Of all the high school productions in the state of Utah, Uintah’s Something Rotten is a Top 10 Finalist for Best Musical and also has top 10 nominations for Best Ensemble, Best Director, and Best Costume Design. Top 10 nominations also came in for Cade Marshal for Best Actor, Aurelia Harrison for Best Actress, Benson Baumgarten for Supporting Actor, and Ethan Pierce for Cameo Performer. Uintah’s fall production of ‘The Lightning Thief’ received nominations for Best Student Costume Design, Best Student Scenic Design and Shayna Cook for Cameo Performer. The nominees will perform onstage at the Eccles Theatre in Salt Lake City on May 4th. Congratulations to the entire cast and crew associated with Uintah High Theatre this season.
