While most high school sports and extracurriculars have moved forward in advance of the school year, some programs have had to make the tough decision to postpone their usual plans. The Uintah High Theatre program is among the latter, announcing on Monday the postponement of their 2020-2021 season. “We feel the responsibility to do the right thing as we proceed into the school year, and at present that means waiting for about a month into school to make better informed decisions,” shares Monday’s announcement. “It remains in our plans to produce three shows in our season, and it may well be the same productions announced previously. Of course for the Fall that likely means new production dates. We are aware how disappointing this delay will be for many of our participants and patrons, and we have incredible empathy for you. New audition and performance dates will be announced at a later date.” The hope is a decision can be made by September 25th.
