A Uintah High School student will represent the state of Utah in a prestigious competition. Uintah High shared the news on Monday that Hayden Boren was selected as one of 5 students in the state to represent Utah as a U.S. Presidential Scholar in Career and Technical Education. “Hayden will now enter the National contest and if he does well there, will be awarded with an all-expense paid trip to Washington, DC, where he will receive his medallion,” shares Uintah High. To represent the state as a U.S. Presidential Scholar is among the nation’s highest honors for secondary students. Those nominated are evaluated on academic rigor, technical competence, employability skills, and ingenuity, creativity, and problem solving. Congratulations Hayden Boren and good luck at Nationals!
