Among the heroes of 2020 were the countless educators who took on the monumental task of continuing to teach students in ever changing circumstances. While every employee could earn an award in their own right, two Uintah High School employees are being recognized for their continued efforts and service. Kristen Baumgarten has been named Uintah High School Teacher of the Year and Jodi Ryan has been named Uintah High School Classified Employee of the Year. “Mrs. Baumgarten teaches in the English department and Mrs. Ryan is the Administrative Assistant at UHS,” shares the district announcement. “These two outstanding individuals were nominated by students, faculty, and staff and then voted on by the UHS Community Council. Congratulations and thanks for making UHS a great place to be!”
