Uintah High Accreditation Process Results In Score Well Above Average

by | Apr 2, 2025 | News | 0 comments

Uintah School District took the time recently to explain the school accreditation process after receiving their results of Uintah High School’s accreditation. “Uintah High recently completed the accreditation process, which looks at the whole school — from policies to learning conditions and cultural context — to determine how well the parts work together to meet the needs of every student,” shares the District. “Cognia accredits schools in the United States and conducted the accreditation at UHS, awarding our school an Index of Education Quality (IEC) score of 340. Cognia’s IEQ network average is 296. An IEQ above 300 indicates that a school meets Cognia’s expectations for accreditation.” Cognia has been an accreditation partner in schools for 130 years and has a Commission that reviews every team report when complete to confirm that the findings and process meet their quality standards. Congratulations to Uintah High School on this accomplishment.
