It’s been a great season so far for the Uintah High Girls Wrestling Team who have been named the Region 7 champions. The team received their trophy before the home dual against Wasatch High on January 20th. They beat Wasatch, then traveled to the Utah Duals State Championships the next day at Westlake High. They finished that dual tied with the Westlake Thunder, who are the defending 6A state champions and were ranked 3rd in the nation. Westlake won the dual on a tiebreaker. This weekend the Uintah Girls Wrestling Team dominated at the Lady Templar Clash in Manti. They placed 1st by 61.5 points ahead of the 2nd place team. Aidyn Sharp, Chanley Green, Emma Carri, and Maddison Tenney each won individual titles. Uintah Girls Wrestling dominated at the Lady Templar Clash in Manti on Saturday.
