Congratulations to both the Uintah girls and boys wrestling teams on winning this weekend’s Tournament of Champions. There were 14 girls teams with Uintah followed by Central-Grand Junction in 2nd, North Sanpete in 3rd, Juab in 4th, and Union in 5th. There were 34 boys teams with Uintah followed by Juab in 2nd, Payson in 3rd, Moffat County in 4th, and Pinedale in 5th. The Uintah girls team had 12 individual placers in the top 4. Chanley Green, Kendra Atwood, and Tessa Barton each won first place in their weight class. Aidyn Sharp, Sydnie Dick, and Kayli Keel each placed 2nd. On the Union girls wrestling team Jasmine Brown placed 2nd. The boys team had 14 individual placers in the top 7. Dillon Dick and Gage Howard both won first place in their weight class. Michael Alexander, Brady Merkley, and Austin Richens each placed 2nd. Congratulations on the team wins and individual victories!
