An opportunity to make a real difference is here as the Uintah Fire District is looking for more firefighter recruits. While these are volunteer positions, the District does provide life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment coverage, training, and pay for time spent on fires. The departments with open positions include Avalon, Jensen, Lapoint/Tridell, Naples, and Vernal. Applications can be found on www.UintahFire.com and will be accepted through July 30th. Applicants must be over the age of 18, have a valid driver’s license, and pass a background check and drug test.
