State competition last week went very well for the Uintah High DECA Club. The team had a 2nd place finish overall in the Chapter of the Year category and 17 club members qualified for nationals. Justin Schmidt, Kenadee Allred, Ellie Hartman, and Bryson Allan were in the top 10 percent of test scores in their individual subjects. There were many team members that placed in individual and team events. Those awarded first place were Ellie Hartman in Entrepreneurship Individual Series; Kenadee Allred, Nate Larsen, and Masen Briggs in Project Management Business Solutions; Sydney Migliori and Ellie Hartman in Project Management Career Development; Bryson Allen, Ashlyn Coxsen, and Ryan Mansfield in Project Management Community Giving; Paige Wardle in Buying and Researching Operations Research Project; and Kelsey Alexander, Gabe Elison, and Marcy Reynolds in Sales Project.
