The Uintah County Commission voted on Monday to waive the ACH/Echeck convenience fee currently charged online when customers pay for Uintah County Business Personal Property, Uintah County Mobile Home, and Uintah County Treasurer Real Property Tax. “This change is being made to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, also known as coronavirus, by encouraging residents to use the county’s online payment system instead of coming to the county building to make payments in-person.” According to their Monday press release, this was at the request of Uintah County Treasurer Wendi Long and the ACH/Echeck convenience fee will be waved until April 30th. They also announced that the online credit card convenience fee for payments to Uintah County Justice Court and Naples Justice Court are also waived until April 30th.
