It takes a network of trained individuals to keep the community safe and no one knows that better than local law enforcement. The Uintah County Sheriff’s Office is excited that their team includes some members with extra special skills and they have officially welcomed another such team member. K9 “Tank” is a one-year-old Bloodhound trained to track using scent discrimination and has been with the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office since December 2021. Tank’s partner is handler Deputy Dave Fairey who has been with the sheriff’s office for over 14 years. The Sheriff’s Office shared on Wednesday that “We at the sheriff’s office are excited to have Tank as an asset and look forward to watching him and Deputy Dave Fairey work together.”
