On the morning of June 3rd, an employee at Uintah High School reported hearing a gunshot and ricochet sound outside the high school. Clarifying any confusion or misunderstanding, the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office reported Monday morning that the investigation found no physical evidence to indicate that a bullet had struck the school as well as no physical evidence to indicate that a gun had been fired on school grounds. They also clarified that this investigation has no connection to the fatal shooting that took place in Vernal on the afternoon of June 3rd.
