Uintah County Returns to High COVID-19 Transmission Index Level (3/4 – 3/10)

Uintah County has returned to the high COVID-19 Transmission Index Level while Duchesne County has stayed at the Moderate Level and Daggett County remains at the Low Transmission Level. According to Thursday’s press release, Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 8 percent and there were 131 cases in the past 14 days. Duchesne County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 4 percent and there were 34 cases in the past 14 days. Daggett County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 0 percent and there were 0 cases in the past 14 days. Over the past 7 days from the time of the press release, the tri-county area as a whole had 10 new COVID-19 related hospitalizations and 1 new COVID-19 related death. Statewide total ICU utilization was 71 percent and the 7-day COVID-19 utilization was 17 percent.
