The Utah Association of Counties(UAC) has awarded a Uintah County elected official with a coveted recognition. According to the UAC press release, Brenda McDonald has been named the 2019 Recorder of the Year for her exceptional efforts and accomplishments. “Affiliates of the Year are selected from and voted on by their peers for demonstrating outstanding work ethic, bold leadership, and creative problem solving throughout the past year,” shares the announcement. “Brenda was elected as the Uintah County Recorder in 2015. She has excelled in this role, and served as a valued member of the County Recorder’s office for several years as the County Recorder, Deputy Recorder and Cartographer.” UAC CEO Brandy Grace says that Brenda is “extremely organized, and has created a system that is fully functional and well received by her staff. Her jovial personality makes her easy to work with and communication seamless. I always look forward to my interaction with Brenda,” continues Grace. “She truly shines, and works hard to make sure everything is taken care of.” Congratulations Brenda McDonald, the 2019 Recorder of the Year.
