Uintah County residents interested in participating in a research study are still needed. USU Assistant Professor of Social Work Dr. Dorothy Wallis is conducting the study to “survey the attitudes of community members towards homelessness and the homeless services in Cache, Utah, Carbon, and Uintah Counties. Specifically…in learning about beliefs and attitudes towards individuals experiencing homelessness, perceived gaps in homeless services within the community, and evaluating community attitudes for the expansion of services.” Participants are asked to complete a 5 to 10 minute online survey and then are entered to win 1 of 4 $50 Amazon gift cards. Participants must be age 18 or older. Link to the survey through this news story on BasinNow.com.
