Uintah County is moving forward with their ‘Energy Strong’ project. Uintah County Economic Development Director Lesha Coltharp made a presentation during a recent Uintah County Commission meeting of plans to produce short 30-second videos that will highlight the energy industry’s production process. These ‘Energy Strong’ videos are an effort to help the world better understand what the production process entails, from cradle to grave. Commissioner Haslem expressed his support for the project as he feels there is a lot of false information regarding energy distributed. Commissioner Stringer also noted during the meeting that distributing factual information is helpful. The Commission moved to solicit bids for the ‘Energy Strong’ videos. The ‘Energy Strong’ videos will be shared with the public on YouTube and through media.
