A Uintah County man has been arrested on charges involving child pornography and recording women in a bathroom. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, 20-year-old Jaedon Kodiak Nielson got on the radar of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children after he was linked to child sex abuse material that had been uploaded to a Kik app. The investigation didn’t just find child sex abuse material, it also uncovered video files that showed women using the bathroom. The affidavit stated that the videos were taken “from a low angle with the camera placed in a position below the bottom of the privacy wall of the stall to gain visual access to the persons captured in the videos.” When he was interviewed, Nielsen said the videos were taken at his work though the affidavit did not state specifically where. Jaedon Kodiak Nielson was arrested for 5 counts of 1st Degree Felony Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, 5 counts of 2nd Degree Felony Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, 1 count of 3rd Degree Felony Voyeurism with Distribution, and 7 counts of Voyeurism. He is being held without bail.
