A man on probation was arrested on Sunday in Uintah County after calls came in that he was trying to break into residences. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, 36-year-old Jesse Doyle Clark was extremely agitated upon the arrival of police officers and appeared to be under the influence as he could not stand still or keep his balance. While they waited for Clark’s probation officer, he made threats towards both officers. One of the property owners arrived and told officers he had received a call that Clark and a female had been seen in one of his vehicles on the property and that they did not have permission. Clark was given a lawful order to get on the ground which he refused. A Taser was used and officers were able to secure Clark in handcuffs. He was booked into Uintah County Jail. He is charged with Burglary of a Vehicle, Criminal Trespass, Interfering with a Peace Officer, Assault on a Peace Officer, and 3 counts of 3rd Degree Felony Assault by a Prisoner.
