Many in the Uintah Basin deeply appreciate the offerings of the Uintah County Library. Last year caused major changes in services at the library but Sam Passey and his staff worked hard to get creative and provide everything possible. Things have started opening up, and that includes the events and activities at the library. Just last month the library started using a new website that is much easier to navigate. Individuals can search the catalog, check out new events, look-up additional resources that come with a Library card, sign into accounts to manage checkouts, holds, and purchase requests. Some of the additional resources include access to Creativebug, PlayAway, and Kanopy to name a few. The plethora of clubs the library host have started back up including Lego Club, Coding Club, and Quilting Club. The computers are open for public use, as is the wifi. The Teen Zone is going strong. They have even started up Novel News, a newsletter that will be released every other Wednesday, with either a social media copy or a printed one. Everyone is invited to come visit the Uintah County Library and get acquainted again with its many opportunities for fun, learning and growth.
