Uintah County Library Book Club

If you are looking to socialize, in a social distancing way, and you enjoy reading, checkout the Uintah County Library’s Book Club. Each month the library will select a new book to read throughout the month and will have activities based around the book that if an individual completes will earn a badge. The different activities can include, but are certainly not limited to, writing exercises, baking/cooking opportunities, and crafts. The book for the month of May is “The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society”. If interested, visit Beanstack and enroll in this reading challenge to view the activities. Once you have read the book write a review and then visit the library’s Facebook page to join in the discussion at the end of the month. There will be a post that will have the book’s cover and a synopsis, as well as a few discussion suggestions or questions. Individuals are encouraged to leave thoughts as comments and are reminded to be respectful of others feelings and opinions.
