The Uintah County Library will be open to the public starting Tuesday, February 21st. “This initial soft-opening is an opportunity for people to come in to browse and check out the Library’s collections,” explains Library Director Sam Passey. “ We encourage families to only send one or two people in to checkout materials and maintain social distancing.” Other things to note are that activities such as storytime will continue to be held as online events. The library will continue to offer and encourage a drive up pickup service and they will be utilizing additional cleaning and sanitizing procedures. Room bookings, computer use, and the Kid’s Cafe continue to be unavailable for now though use of the library Wi-Fi is encouraged.
