The Vernal Comic Con held at the Uintah County Library was tons of fun. Part of the fun was all the people who dressed up in costumes for the cosplay contest. The winners were recently announced after judges tallied the votes for the six different categories. The winner of Best Costume was Stanze Davis for her character/costume as Kenshin Himora from Rurouni Kenshin. Best Character went to Quintessa Cortisse for her character/costume as Cinder from the Lunar Chronicles. Most Creative Design was Cumorah Munford for her character/costume as Loki. The Judges Favorite was Matthew James Moon for his character/costume as Bebo from DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. For Best Youth Costume, Hayden DeBerard for his character/costume as Thor. Finally for
Best Group Costume LaNea, Hannah, Rose, Sadie and Preston Allred for their group characters/costumes as Wonder Women, Batgirl and Supergirl. Winners need to come by the library and pick up there prize before Friday, April 26th, 2019.
