Uintah County Emergency Management will be holding a HAM Radio class every Tuesday from 6 to 9pm at the Uintah County Emergency Operations Center in Vernal starting October 29th. The class will run until December 10th, with the licensing test scheduled for December 17th. “The class is free, but there will be associated fees for the test to obtain your HAM radio license,” shares the announcement. “This is the perfect opportunity to get licensed and be prepared for emergencies before the holiday season!” For more information, contact Uintah County Emergency Management at 435-781-5466.
