Uintah County Economic Development Looking For Board Members

In our struggle to help the Basin survive these trying times new ideas are needed. If you feel that you have some ideas that could renew, refresh, or otherwise help the economy of the Basin there is an opportunity for you. Uintah County is looking for 5 board members  that are willing to serve on the County Economic Development Advisory (CED) Board. As a member of the board you will give input to help prioritize economic development projects and opportunities. The board will also advise on applying for a Rural County Grant with the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development and give input on what projects should be funded under this grant. If asked to serve, your term for the position will be 2 or 4 years so that they can allow for staggering. A Request for Consideration form can be found at the Uintah County Commission Office or at www.uintah.ut.us. Applications will be accepted until May 19th, 2020 after which board appointments will be made in a regular scheduled Commission Meeting.
