The Uintah County Commission unanimously approved the mineral lease allocations during a January Commission meeting. The following annual fund numbers were approved: $500,000 dollars to the newly formed Special Service District #1, $1.7 million dollars to the Fire Special Service District, $1 million dollars to the Health Special Service District, $804,000 dollars to the Animal Control Special Service District, $3 million dollars to the Recreation Special Service District, and $1,385,000 dollars to the Impact Mitigation Special Service District. Any remaining balance will go to the Transportation Special Service District. It was also mentioned that at that time the January mineral lease allocation had not yet been received.
