The Uintah County Commission reviewed bids for remodeling work to better suit the
needs of the Community Development Department during Monday’s Commission
meeting. Clerk Auditor Mike Wilkins opened two bids: BHI at $216,229 dollars and
Angus Construction at $202,277 dollars. Community Development Director Matt Cazier
explained that over the years, the Community Development Department has grown out of
their space and needs to utilize vacant nearby offices on the 3rd floor where there will be
enough room to expand and have room for future growth as well. The motion was made
to take the bids under consideration to make sure all the needs are met. The plan is to
award the contract at the next commission meeting.
