Uintah County’s Western Park has several improvement projects coming up, including a new roof for the Western Park. The Uintah County Commission considered bids for the roof project during Tuesday’s Commission meeting. Zeke Atwood presented 3 bids to the Commission along with the detailed committee analysis of each. Atwood emphasized that the analysis is not just about selecting the lowest bid but ensuring that it will also be a quality job. Pro-West’s bid of $90,541 dollars was recommended and the Commission unanimously approved the bid, with all contracts subject to attorney review. A second item on the meeting agenda was to review bids for a Western Park rotomill and parking lot asphalt project but it was tabled as the committee requested more time to review the bids.
