Jaymon Thomas has been appointed the new Uintah County Attorney. The Uintah County Commission made the appointment during their regularly scheduled Commission meeting on Monday. Thomas, as well as the other two individuals recommended by the Uintah County Republican Party Central Committee, were current members of the prosecutor’s office at the Uintah County Attorney’s Office at the time of their recommendation in January. Thomas will fill Greg Lamb’s remaining term as Uintah County Attorney since Lamb resigned to take a position as Judge in 8th District Court. Jonathan Stermer served as the Interim County Attorney while the selection process took place.
