A Uintah County resident has learned an important lesson on returning your rental vehicle. According to court documents, an individual rented a car on February 8th and signed a contract stating that the car would be returned by February 15th. On February 18th, when the vehicle had still not been returned, it was located at a Uintah County home. The person on the contract never contacted the rental company for keeping the vehicle longer than the contracted time and now is charged with 2nd Degree Felony Theft of a Rental Vehicle.
