Uintah County 2020 Tourism Alive and Well

Lesha Coltharp, Director of Uintah County Travel and Tourism, gave a 2020 tourism report during the Vernal Chamber luncheon last week. Coltharp shared that even though Dinosaur National Monument was closed for April, May, and June of last year, there were 264,145 visitors in 2020. The Utah Field House Museum had 33,455 visitors, Red Fleet had 70,986 visitors, Steinaker had 32,859 visitors, the Heritage Museum had 16,635 visitors and Ashley National Forest had 2.2 million visitors. Coltharp also shared that Buckskin Hills Snow Hill was a huge success with 6000 individual visitors including numerous people from out of the area.
