The Uintah Basin Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan is currently being updated and covers Daggett, Duchesne and Uintah Counties. The plan update is up for public review and citizens in each county are invited to provide comments on the applicable portions of the document for the county in which you live or work. The public comment period is now open and will run through September 5th. Links to each counties’ plan and to provide feedback are available on the Uintah County Emergency Management Facebook page. Comments can also be delivered to Heidi Lundbert in Uintah County at HLundberg@uintah.utah.gov, Katie Anderson in Daggett County at KAnderson@daggettcounty.org, and Shelly Felter in Duchesne County at SFelter@duchesne.utah.gov.
