Ashley Regional Medical Center in Vernal and Uintah Basin Medical Center in Roosevelt both made a prestigious list recognizing the top 100 Rural and Community Hospitals across the country. The Chartis Center for Rural Health publishes the list every year. “The Top 100 Rural & Community Hospital award program reminds us that rural providers haven’t lost touch with their mission and are committed to delivering better quality, better outcomes and better patient satisfaction,” shares Michael Topchik with the Chartis Center for Rural Health. Chief Nursing Officer Greg Gardiner at Ashley Regional shared that their establishment is honored to be included on the list for the fourth consecutive year and that they are committed to providing high quality care to everyone who enters their doors. At the news of the Uintah Basin Medical Center being on the list, Uintah Basin Healthcare President and CEO Jim Marshall said being recognized is an honor and that as a non-profit community owned hospital they will never lose focus on providing compassionate, quality care.
