Uintah Basin Healthcare has announced that their Vernal ER is now a Stroke Receiving Facility. “This means that we have the required infrastructure, staff, and equipment to stabilize and provide rapid, optimal, and efficient care to acute stroke patients all over the Basin,” shares the UBH announcement. The accreditation comes from the Utah Department of Health & Human Services and the Utah Hospital Association. The designation is good through April of 2026.
