Uintah Basin Healthcare shared exciting news this week. They are offering monoclonal antibody treatment for COVID-19 patients with mild to moderate symptoms. “Currently, both monoclonal antibody therapies have been authorized under a US Food and Drug Administration Emergency Use Authorization. Although supply is limited, ongoing studies suggest that these therapies are showing to be effective in reducing virus load, symptoms, and the risk of hospitalization in eligible patients recently diagnosed with mild to moderate COVID-19,” stated Stashia Dahlberg, UBH Infusion Services Manager.

Uintah Basin Healthcare shared that eligible patients must meet specific clinical criteria. Patient selection and inclusion criteria are constantly evolving as supplies change. Visit ubh.org to learn more about this new promising treatment option.
