With Uintah, Duchesne, and Daggett among the counties in the state to enter the Yellow (low-risk) Phase in the Utah Leads Together plan, Uintah Basin Healthcare has announced revisions to their visitation policy. The revised visitation policy takes effect today, May 19th, and includes the following adjustments: Hospital and clinic settings will now allow one visitor for ER, Surgery, OB, Med Surg/ICU, and Clinics. The Villa, however, will remain in fully secured mode with no visitors. Visitors to any facility must be 18 or older, be in good health with no suspected symptoms of COVID-19, complete a health screening, and wear a mask or face covering as well as sanitize hands upon entering facilities. Access points to facilities will remain limited to allow for screening of all who enter. It is also asked that you bring a mask with you to help conserve PPE but they can provide a mask if needed.
