The public comment period has been extended for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed Uinta Basin Railway. The Draft EIS analyzes the potential environmental impacts of the Seven County Infrastructure Coalition rail proposal. The proposal aims to construct and operate an approximately 85-mile rail line connecting the Uinta Basin to the existing interstate rail network. The public comment period was scheduled to end next week but has been extended through January 28th, 2021. A digital copy of the Draft EIS can be found at www.UintaBasinRailwayEIS.com.
