It wasn’t too long ago that the UBTech Welding Building in Roosevelt was finished and training students in the state of the art facility. Now three years later, UBTech hosted an unveiling ceremony to reveal the naming of the building in honor of some of the college’s greatest supporters.

The side of the building now bears the names of distinguished community members, Kathy and Todd Bro, the owners of Iowa Tankline. “Todd and Cathy Bro are long time supporters of UBTech,” shares Stephanie Carter, UBTech Vice President of Public Affairs. “They come from a blue collar background and love that these students are training hard and working with their hands. This naming celebrates their friendship with UBTech and them as donors contributing to student success.” This was UBTech’s first ever building name unveiling event.
