The Uintah Basin Technical College celebrated its first class of ‘UBTech’ graduates on May 2nd at the Roosevelt Junior High School. The graduating class of the newly renamed UBTech included 514 students. “The Uintah Basin is the birthplace of technical education in the State of Utah. Since 1968, tens of thousands of students have built their career from the foundational education they received at, what is now known as UBTech,” shares UBTech President Aaron Weight. “Never before has your certificate credential been more needed, celebrated or nationally recognized.” A total of 3,814 students have been enrolled at the school from July 2017 through April 2018.
